How to weld corrugated diaphragm with micro-beam plasma welding machine

According to the editor of Duomu Industry, the corrugated film is generally welded by a micro-beam plasma welding machine. When the thickness of the corrugated film is greater than 0.2mm, it can also be welded by low-power tungsten argon arc welding.

Internal circle welding Before internal circle welding, the corrugated diaphragm is required to be carefully cleaned to remove oil stains and oxide film. The washed corrugated film should be soaked in absolute ethanol and blow dry immediately after removal. The cleaned corrugated film can no longer be touched by hand, it must be clamped with metal pliers, and the operator must wear white gauze gloves.
Assemble the two corrugated diaphragms with the same waveform on the inner circle welding fixture. First install two corrugated diaphragms to be welded and a pressure ring on the positioning shaft to ensure that the corrugated diaphragms to be welded are concentric with the corrugated diaphragms to be welded, and then place the positioning shaft on the rotating shaft so that the corrugated diaphragms to be welded are concentric with the rotating shaft.
Start the micro-beam plasma welding machine, adjust the spatial position of the plasma welding torch, and then start the arc. After the plasma is stabilized, the dimensional arc is sprayed out, aligned with the inner diameter of the corrugated film, and the welding machine is started to rotate the shaft. And observe whether the dimensional arc of the corrugated film is stable and whether it is eccentric. When everything is normal, apply welding current and adjust welding speed. When the welding parameters and weld quality are stable, the automation of the micro-beam plasma welding machine can be realized.
Assemble the inner-circle corrugated diaphragm with the outer-circle welded corrugated diaphragm on a special fixture, and perform the outer-circle welding of the corrugated diaphragm. The mandrel 1 is connected with the head of the micro-beam plasma welding machine, the welding of the mandrel 1 drives the welded corrugated film pair 6 to rotate, and the micro-beam plasma welding machine remains stationary. Before welding, the inner circular corrugated diaphragm pair 6 which has been welded is respectively fitted with a snap ring 3 (composed of two half rings). The function of the snap ring 3 is to attach the corrugated films to each other to ensure heat dissipation at the welding place. The snap ring is usually made of brass. The outer diameter of the snap ring is generally 0.8~1.5mm, which is smaller than the outer diameter of the corrugated membrane.
The welded clamped inner circle corrugated diaphragm pair is connected with the micro-beam plasma arc welding machine. Adjust the position of the welding torch and start the micro-beam plasma welding machine. The editor of Duomu Industry recommends observing the eccentricity of the welded corrugated film and the tightening between each other. If it does not meet the requirements, it can be adjusted. Especially when the bellows is longer, the concentricity of the welded inner circular corrugated membranes should be carefully adjusted. Concentricity difference, the amount of misalignment is greater than 20% of the corrugated film thickness, the weld will appear jagged, the appearance is not beautiful, and the sealing cannot meet the requirements.
